Hey Dave,What do you have pouring out of your taps this weekend? Looking forward to making a trip out and having a brew.
Off the top of my noggin', it's gonna start with: Double Imperial, I'm Batty Saison, Imperial Double, Rhubarb Saison, Breakfast Lager, FramBrewlay, Chinook Single Hop Lager and Lupulo Noir. Who knows what else lurks??? See ya!
It was great to finally make it out to the BrewFarm on Saturday, definitely am going to have to make the trip out there more often!Picked up a liter while I was out there. Do you counter-pressure fill them, or do I need to drink it up fairly soon?
Matt: Glad you enjoy the BF Experience! The liters are not counter-pressure filled but are CO2 purged, slow filled with a Blichmann Beer Gun and either capped on foam or hit with another shot of CO2. My beers are "living" - they come together, peak and begin to fall apart (like all of us!). I give it a 3-4 week window for best experience, though I have had my liters at 3+ months. And other than a little hop fade (was one of my Single Hop Lagers) I did not get any oxidation. I've got a customer who has somehow be able to hold onto a bottle of "The Bruiser" for more than six months and we'll see how it holds up soon. See ya in AUG!
Do you know when you'll be open in August? I'm hoping to swing by on Aug. 12th :)
It's looking like AUG 6-7 and 27-28 from 3-7 each day. We'll be getting ready for the Great Taste in Madison on the 12th...
Dave, Very excited to have a group of 4 visit the Farm on August 27th. Do we need to send ya more formal notice? I see the website is up in test mode! Very cool...
Dan:No, no notice/reservation required - at the moment... Hopefully we don't hit that scenario! *Someday* I'll get around to my site. Someday...PS - Village of Wilson celebrates its 100th "b-day" the 27th...
Just curious when the August Tasting/Brewery Tour will be.....my younger brother is a brewer as well, and we are throwing him a bachelor party this weekend (Aug 6-7). I know he would love a chance to tour your brewery and talk with your brew master(s). Please give me a call 715.456.2846 so we can talk about this!!!! (not to mention, your beer is AMAZING!!)
