I will be there on Labor Day. Will you have a list of beers you will be serving? I am looking for an IPA with a lot of hops. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat will your open Tap Room hours be on Sat Aug 18th? Also will you have tours of your brewery?
ReplyDeleteHammer: I typically don't have a list of the beers until just before we're open. And I don't "do" IPAs, as one of my mottos is, "Why brew what everybody else is brewing?" I do brew some hoppy beers but they definitely much more balanced than many of the typical IPAs out there.
ReplyDeleteTap Room hours are from 3-7 each day. Tours (somewhat of an overstatement...) are available on request. It's pretty small operation but I give the nickel tour!
Thanks Dave! We are from St Paul and will be driving through the area around noon Sat 8/18. Sounds like we will have make a trip back through.
ReplyDeleteFirst-timer here, coming on Saturday. So pumped to finally get out there! Can we buy growlers to bring home? Thanks, Dave!!!
ReplyDeleteQuestion - how long do your growlers stay fresh if unopened?
ReplyDeleteI give them +/- a month. I CO2 purge, fill and purge again before capping. I've had a customer keep one eight months and it held up very well. I've had others the were 4+ months that were really tasty. But like fresh bread, fresh beer is best consumed sooner than later. Keep it cool and dark - heat, light and oxygen are beer's biggest enemies!
