Weather safety update for 12/28-29/19

As predicted, the BrewFarm is shellacked and encased with ice. While not closing down (cuz many will not see this), like many others are recommending, stay home and safe. I promise I won't drink *all* the beerz...😉🍻

Graduation!

Yesterday was my Graduation from the Master of Arts in Service Leadership (MASL) program at Viterbo University.

What an amazing finale to a transformative program, with such an incredible group of fellow classmates!

And now the real work begins...

A special Thanks to my parents for their love and support!

And thank you one and all for your contributions to my ongoing education and emerging vocation!

I cannot begin to thank all the people who helped make the BrewFarm what it is today - so many stories, so many great people, and of course, sooo many beers!

Santa's Gift to You - DEC 2019 Open Taproom Weekends!

Ho-ho-ho, it's off to the BrewFarm Taproom we go!

The Taproom will be open the following December 2019 weekends: DEC 21-22 and 28-29 from 3-7 each day. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and y'all can safely make the BrewFarm scene, as I close out 2019 with a Huzzah and some Sis-Boom-Bah!

Yuppers, it's NOV 2019 Open Taproom Weekends! Y'all been so patient with my travels and school that I'll be open THREE weekends this month, and a bonus Black Friday open! I'll be open the NOV weekends of 2-3rd, 16-17th, and 29, 30 and DEC 1st, from 3-7 each day - hope I have *enough* beer! Fall is a lovely time to venture out for some tasty BrewFarm beers!

SEP 2019 Taproom Weekends With a View!

I'll be open on the back-to-back weekends of SEP 7-8th and 14-15th, from 3-7 each day. Taproom scheduling through the end of the year is going to be a bit scattered, as I have my *final* graduate Colloquium class this Fall semester - sooo close!

August 2019 Taproom Weekends - with a Twist

"Red skies at night, BrewFarmer's delight!" Yes, it's time for August 2019 Taproom weekends! I'll be open the weekends of AUG 10-11 and the 25th ONLY, from 3-7 each day. A slight deviation from the "norm" of every-other-weekend, in that there's a private event on AUG 24, so no public tasting that day. Come on out and enjoy the Dog Days with some tasty BrewFarm beers!

July 2019 Open Taproom Weekends!

The sun has set on June, so it's time for July 2019 Open Taproom Weekends! I'll be open the weekends of July 13-14th and 27-28th, from 3-7 each day. "Saison Dandy" made a last minute appearance yesterday, so it'll be on for sure on the 13th! Cool off your Summer with some tasty BrewFarm beers!

June 2019 reminder and notes

End of June 2019 reminder that the BrewFarm Taproom is open this weekend, June 29-30, from 3-7 each day. Some notes: Gonna be a hot one, so be sure to bring your water bottles and sunscreen. Also, on SAT, starting about 5:00 I’ll be hosting a group of Morris Dancers, and it’s a pretty big group, so it will get busy - FYI! I do have some filled liters for takeaway, but as always, please bring in your empties! See you soon!

OMG! It's a BONUS May 2019 Open Taproom Day (note the singular): due to multiple requests, followed by numerous "come on Dave!" pleas, I'll be open May 25th (SAT only) from 3-7. Kick off your Memorial weekend in style with a trip to the BrewFarm. Grills and picnics encouraged!

Yuppers, it's May 2019 open Taproom Weekends! Just for clarity, I'll be open May 4-5, 18-19, from 3-7 each day. And *maybe* the SAT of Memorial Weekend - we'll see how the planets line up. Luna is keeping watch - stay tuned!

Fool's Edition: April 2019 Open Taproom Weekends!

It's No Foolin' April 2019 Open Taproom Weekends! I'll be open the weekends of April 6-7th and 20-21st from 3-7 each day. *Finally* the ice and snow have relented (but we're not out of the woods yet…), so driveway parking will be open once again. The Muds are still around, so proper footwear is encouraged. Come on out and enjoy the beauty of Spring with tasty beers at the BrewFarm!

Wee reminder that the BrewFarm Taproom is open this weekend (3/23-24/19 from 3-7 each day). And a caution that we're in the Season of the Muds! Please wear yer mucks or other sturdy footwear, as The Muds can be challenging. Gonna be some stellar weather - come out and enjoy some stellar beers!

3/10/19 Taproom / Weather Update

Got a good 8-10 inches overnight, and now the winds are picking up - yay! said no one ever... That said, the Taproom will be open (3/10/19 from 3-7) for those intrepid souls making the trek. There's still a bit of McAnderson pouring - come on out and enjoy some BrewFarm Winter Wonderland!

Weather update for 3/9/19!

Having just checked the weather, it *appears* the storm is starting later and to a lesser degree. I'll open the Taproom from 3-7 today (SAT 3/9/19) but please don't risk it if you feel the conditions are not safe for travel. And depending on the overall severity (or not...), I'll post an update for SUN hours tomorrow morning. Thanks, and stay safe!

Marching into MAR 2019 Taproom Weekends!

What better way to say goodbye to the snowiest FEB ever, than to post MARCH 2019 Open Taproom weekends! I'll be open the March weekends of 9-10th and 23-24th from 3-7 each day.

I certainly *hope* I can move enough of this hellacious drifting so that y'all can squeeze inside for some tasty BrewFarm beers. Stay warm and safe my friends!!!

Fantastically Frigid February 2019 Taproom Weekends! Sure, the mercury will not be above zero for the next few days, but by this weekend, cabin fever will have set in hard, and the temps will have soared into the 30s above zero! 

I'll be open the FEB weekends of 2-3rd and 16-17th from 3-7 each day. The SunDogs of January will melt away soon, so come on out and celebrate the "heatwave" with some tasty BrewFarm beers - Skol!

Weekend of 1/19-20/19 Reminder!

Wee reminder that the BrewFarm Taproom is open this weekend (1/19-20/2019 from 3-7). A big Caution that the Ice Age has not receded, and to be careful as you make your way in - it's slippery! For those fans, Matacabras is on tap! (And a limited # of liters for take-away). Looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces!

Parking this weekend 1/5-6/19

A warm reminder that the BrewFarm Taproom is open this weekend (1/5-6 from 3-7). Due to it not being THAT warm, the driveway remains very icy, so please be cautious as you head down the driveway.
And unless something changes between now and opening, I'm going to close the driveway for parking (unless you have 4x4 AND great snow tires). See y'all soon!
